CONNECTED SYSTEM

Kilter Board
on a Lemur frame.

Kilter Board represents the gold standard for power training on adjustable climbing walls. Mounted on Lemur's precision-engineered frame, it combines 160,000+ community-set problems with electric angle adjustment from  -5° to 70° — all installed in a single day with zero specialized tools.

Lemur builds the frame, the foundation every system mounts onto.

And you don't have to juggle suppliers: we can provide the complete Kilter Board 2 package — frame, holds and LED kit — and coordinate the flooring through our international reseller network. One partner, one delivery, one install: fewer contacts, fewer delays, full accountability on the whole space.

HOW IT WORKS

The Kilter Board works in three layers:

  • the Lemur frame (5 available sizes)
  • the Kilter holds with LED
  • the Kilter Climbing app

Select a problem in the app — the matching holds light up on the wall.

Defines modern connected climbing wall training. The adjustable angle isn't optional; it's the core innovation that separates Kilter from static alternatives. Adjust the angle from -5° to 70° to match your goal. Power, precision, progress.

WHAT SETS IT APART

What Sets Kilter Apart on a Lemur Frame The Kilter

Board combines three competitive advantages:

  • Polyvalent resin holds optimized for power training
  • Electric angle adjustability (+5°–70°) for progressive difficulty
  • Global database of 160,000+ LED climbing problems with video beta

This is why climbing gyms choose Kilter Board systems: the connected climbing wall infrastructure that trains real power.

 ORIGINS

Born in Colorado, evolved for everyone.

Kilter Grips was founded in Boulder with a mission to democratize connected training walls. Starting with holds and hangboards, they evolved into the Kilter Board system — one of the first standardized LED walls to combine adjustability, community, and accessibility. Today, thousands of climbers worldwide use Kilter as their primary power-training tool.

 2017

Lemur Design established in Montreal by aerospace engineers, building the backbone of modern training walls.

INFRASTRUCTURE

2026

After a legal split with Aurora Climbing, Kilter launches its own proprietary app, taking full control of its platform.

2018

The Kilter Board Original Layout launched after a year of development between Lemur and Kiler, pioneering adjustable angle training from 0° to 70°.

 WHY KILTER WITH LEMUR

Why Choose Kilter Board on Lemur?

Infrastructure matters more than software. A Kilter Board is only as good as the frame holding it. The Lemur adjustable climbing frame is natively Kilter-ready — and behind it sits a complete operation: integrated manufacturing in Montreal, simplified installation, and a single point of contact from quote to ongoing support.

COMPLETE TRAINING SPACE

Kilter on a Lemur Board is just one piece.

A connected board comes into its own inside a space designed for progression: a connected wall, a spray wall, a Güllich pan, a conditioning zone. That's a Training Room — and it's exactly what Lemur builds, from first sketch to opening day.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Kilter Board FAQ

01  Can you switch systems after installation?

Not without replacing the climbing panels. Switching from a Kilter Board to another system requires new panels, holds and lighting components.

The main supporting frame can usually remain in place, but the conversion is still a significant installation. We recommend selecting the right system and layout before ordering.

02  How is it different from the Tension Board?

Both are connected systems with global communities. Kilter focuses on power training with fully adjustable angles (0–70°) and resin holds; Tension emphasizes precision with wood holds and a symmetrical layout. Lemur is compatible with both — choose based on your training philosophy. Kilter suits power-focused gyms; Tension suits precision-based curricula.

03  Does the Kilter Board work in my country?

Yes. 100–240V power, with a cable supplied to local standards. We ship to 26 countries, with special arrangements in place so that European shipping costs are close to North American ones.

04  Which layout should I choose?

Two options: the Original Layout is versatile and gym-friendly, best for mixed-level training. The HW Fullride is denser and fingerier, ideal for smaller spaces or advanced homewalls. Sizes range from 7'×10' to 16'×12'. Bigger isn't always better—it depends on your space and training goals. The Lemur team helps you choose during your feasibility study.
