01 Can you switch systems after installation?
Only within certain system variants. For example, a Tension Board 2 can be changed between Mirror and Spray layouts without replacing the supporting structure.
Switching to a different system—such as Kilter, Moon or So iLL—typically requires new panels, holds and lighting components. The main frame can usually remain, but the conversion is still a significant installation. We recommend selecting the right system before ordering.
02 How is it different from the Kilter Board?
Both are connected systems, but their philosophies differ. The Tension Board uses wood holds (softer, better foot precision), an open layout and a very active community. Lemur is compatible with both — Tension is our top recommendation for its durability and open ecosystem.
03 Does the Tension Board work in my country?
Yes. 100–240V power, with a cable supplied to local standards. We ship to 26 countries, with special arrangements in place so that European shipping costs are close to North American ones.
04 What size wall should I choose?
Wall sizes come in four options: 12×12, 10×12, 12×8, 10×8 (H×W in feet). Bigger isn't always better—it depends on your space and training goals. Each size can run All Sets + LED kit, All Sets without LED, LED kit alone, Plastic Hold Set, or Wood Hold Set. Most climbers start with Wood (better precision, lighter on tendons) and evolve from there. The Lemur team helps you size correctly during your feasibility study so you get the right footprint for your space.
