At Lemur Design, our mission has always been clear: to make climbing more accessible, enjoyable, and sustainable — for everyone, from first-time climbers to seasoned athletes.

Today, we’re proud to introduce a new generation of our commercial adjustable walls, completely redesigned to deliver greater value at a lower cost, without compromising on performance or quality.

1. Prices Reduced by 12–21%, Depending on Wall Size

Through a complete redesign and standardization of components, we’ve significantly reduced manufacturing and assembly costs.

The result: our adjustable walls are now 12–35% more affordable, depending on the configuration.

Fewer unique parts, simplified logistics, and a more efficient production process mean real savings for our clients — while maintaining the world-class Lemur Design quality we’re known for.

2. Now Tilting Up to +5° Slab

Climbing should be inclusive.

That’s why this new generation of adjustable walls can now tilt up to +5 degrees slab — a first for this category.

This feature opens the door to a much wider audience:

  • beginners,
  • kids,
  • rehab and therapy users,
  • and anyone discovering the joy of movement on the wall.

With this innovation, a Lemur adjustable wall becomes a tool for learning and progression, not just performance training.

3. More Rigid, More Stable, More Secure

We’ve completely re-engineered the frame to increase stiffness and reduce vibration, while also lowering the overall weight of the structure.

This new design delivers:

  • a better climbing feel,
  • longer lifespan under heavy use,
  • and enhanced safety for training or competition settings.

Our pilot partners have all said the same thing: the wall feels “stronger,” “smoother,” and “more professional.”

4. Simplified Installation – Ready in One Day

Efficiency doesn’t stop at design.

With our new modular assembly system, a complete Lemur adjustable wall can now be installed in just one day, with no complex adjustments or specialized tools required.

Less downtime. Less handling. And a wall ready to climb almost immediately.

5. Engineering for Movement

Between 2024 and 2025, Lemur Design led an ambitious research and development project with one goal in mind: to create a wall that’s more affordable, more rigid, and faster to produce — without compromise.

An Engineering Challenge

Designing an adjustable climbing wall sounds straightforward — a frame, a motor, some panels.

But at Lemur Design, every detail matters.

Our engineers and designers approach each project as an exercise in balance: stability, motion, safety, and user experience.

We started with a simple but demanding question:

How can we deliver the same product quality, but less expensive? 

The answer led us to a modular mechanical structure — one that’s lighter, stronger, and smarter.

By rethinking how each part connects, we reduced unique components while improving rigidity and precision.

One of the biggest challenges in our industry is diversity of needs.

A performance training center has different requirements than a rehabilitation clinic or a modern fitness gym.

To meet these varied demands, Lemur Design chose a modular approach.

Each module of our walls can adapt to different angles, sizes, and installation environments.

That means:

  • Simpler installation,
  • Easier customization for any client.

By reducing our number of unique parts from 170 to fewer than 40, we’ve made production leaner, faster, and more sustainable.
